Anomaly 01 is an interactive, creative space showcasing artistic talent, programmed systems, and user experience design. The project encourages development of experimental interactive environments.
A network of creators all work in one space to create an expanding world showcasing the efforts of teams and individuals. Creators involved in the project have access to user-created resources to create their own environments, display their own artwork, or test their own experimental game ideas.
Creators’ work exists in the same physical space, allowing players to travel between environments and interact with content as they would in a video game. Creators’ works are linked to their respective online portfolios, allowing players to examine objects, quickly learn about the work and its maker.
THE HOLLOW PLANET
Content for Anomaly 01 is primarily contained within the interior of a hollow planet with thin crust, no mantel, and no core. The planet interior will contain a wide variety of environments, differing in the forms of interaction available to users and visual styles. The planet is illuminated by an exterior sun, providing unique lighting situations for the environments within the planet.
